Check out adult-only date nights at this Calgary pumpkin patch
One of Calgary’s best pumpkin patches is hosting adult-only date nights on weekends all throughout October — though tickets are going fast.
Butterfield Acres has reserved select dates this month for child-free fun, offering an 18+ night at the patch for those looking to find a suitable pumpkin in peace.
The official date night event starts at 5 pm (which is also when the farmyard will open for visits with animals) though the pumpkin hunt won’t begin until 6:15 pm.
Participants will be able to take a sunset tractor ride out to the patch where you’ll be able to hunt down the most picture-perfect soon-to-be-Jack-o-Lantern, which you’ll be able to carve up shortly after.

A campfire will be set up to warm any chilly bones, along with hot chocolate and smores (because what’s a campfire without smores?).
The adult-only nights were set for all Saturdays throughout October as well as this Friday, October 11 — though tickets for Saturday, October 12 have already been sold out.
If you manage to snag yourself a ticket to the final event on Saturday, October 26, be sure to wear your Halloween costume for the costume contest.
