Just in time for the busy holiday travel season, Harbour Air has launched a new discounted digital ticket bundle for frequent fliers between the mainland and Vancouver Island.

North America’s largest seaplane airline has launched the Harbour Air Commuter Pass for passengers who routinely travel between Vancouver or Richmond and Victoria or Nanaimo.

According to Chris Fordyce, VP of Commercial at Harbour Air, the new offering will offer a number of benefits on their journeys.

“With our new Harbour Air Commuter Pass, we are providing passengers with a fast, easy and affordable way to regularly commute between Vancouver or Richmond and Nanaimo or Victoria,” said Fordyce.

“By leveraging the Harbour Air Commuter Pass’s fixed Value fare pricing and discounted digital ticket bundles, frequent flyers along these routes can enjoy a more economical way to travel as the more tickets you buy, the more you save.”

The Commuter Pass offers discounted bundles of 10, 20, 40 or 60 one-way digital tickets. Harbour Air also announced a special introductory price from as low as $75 per flight until December 20, 2024, based on a minimum purchase of 60 one-way travel tickets between Vancouver or Richmond and Nanaimo.

Other benefits for Commuter Pass holders include fixed one-way pricing for the airline’s Value fares, pass sharing between up to four people when purchasing in bundles of 40 or 60 tickets, and 15 lbs baggage allowance per ticket.

But there are some major caveats: the Commuter Pass expires after 12 months from the date of purchase, and a minimum advance booking of seven days before flight departure is required when booking flights using the pass.

Harbour Air makes over 50 flights between the Lower Mainland and Victoria each day and 24 flights between Vancouver/Richmond and Nanaimo daily.
