Even with blue skies and sunshine in the forecast for Vancouver, you’re going to see a few more umbrellas hanging around the city’s Yaletown neighbourhood over the next little while, as a new public art piece.

The new display is currently being installed near the Roundhouse SkyTrain station.

While details surrounding the project are slim at this point, Yaletown Business Improvement Association Project Manager Jillian Ong said the BIA is putting it up and doing it in-house.

She told Daily Hive more details on the project would be available next week.

In the meantime, those in the neighbourhood are welcome to go see the colourful display for themselves.
