Women & Money: One-day conference 'Psychology of Money' overcomes financial fears

Dec 19 2017, 8:18 pm

What does every woman really want to know about money? That is the question that inspires and continues to inform the annual fundraiser and education event.

Saturday, October 18 will be the 9th rendition of Wealth Academy. This day-long event captures the spirit of discovery and holds space for connection and community as hundreds of women gather together annually to conquer misunderstandings, overcome fear and learn strategies for moving their financial lives forward.

What is it?

The Psychology of Money is organized by seasoned financial advisor Tracy Theemes of Sophia Financial Group, and features themed seminars led by experts on topics from Breakthrough Strategies for Financial Success to Mindfulness and Money. Unlike most financial seminars, The Psychology of Money strives to take a more holistic look at money, including a naturopathic doctor, a shamanic practitioner, and an integrative physician. Full speaker lineup here.

Wealth Academy: The Psychology of Money will address both the obvious and unconscious issues that face women today who are trying to find peace of mind about their money. There will be a hands on interactive exercise where we will actually be attempting to “extract” this worry gene. We will then ground the new insights into financial strategies and learn mindfulness techniques to carry us forward to new discoveries and new avenues towards financial success.

Who is it for?

Attendees of this event are aged from 20 to 80 from the newly employed and debt-ridden to professionals, managers and millionaires. Attendees rave about their experience and dozens of businesses, money clubs and financial book groups have formed from meeting at this event. Many still continue to get together to this day.

Topics are all designed around a three-step process for moving to the next level of your financial journey:

  • The unconscious beliefs and patterns that keep you from achieving your financial goals
  • How to overcome irrational fear around money
  • Concrete and practical tools to apply immediately to improve your finances

Tracy claims that after attending this year’s Wealth Academy, every participant will know the next step on her financial journey and who and what she needs to assist her. “It is a day that will leave you inspired, motivated and filled with the confidence and the knowledge you need to forge ahead!”

The ticket price also includes a copy of Tracy’s new book, The Financially Empowered Woman: Everything You Really Want To Know About Your Money.
