Women Dies after being hit by a Semi Truck at Hastings at Richards

Hastings Street is closed at Richards while police officers investigate a deadly crash that took place in the early morning in downtown Vancouver.

The incident involved a woman and a semi truck at the intersection of Hastings and Richards. The woman was rushed to the hospital where she passed away due to her injuries.

The Vancouver Police will be at the scene of the accident throughout the day to investigate further.

This is Vancouver’s first pedestrian fatality of 2014.
