From Friday, Feb. 22 to Sunday, Feb. 24, celebrate Francophone food, arts, cinema, comedy and music at the eighth annual Winterruption on Granville Island. It is sure to be a pleasant interruption to all of our hectic weeks. There’s no need to understand French; The culture will be expressed through the arts and fine flavours of French cuisine and wines.

On Friday and Saturday only, for $35 you can experience a one of a kind jamming partie under the bridge; complete with Vancouver’s best food trucks, live DJ and local beverages.

The Kids Zone will keep your kids entertained with mask and music making. Ben LaBarouette the clown, singing, music, and stilt walkers will be sure to make lasting memories for you and your family.

Not only will you get to savour delectable foods, but also original local art.
