For years, fans of both dogs and high-level athletic performance have had to wait until the Superdogs annual visit to the PNE in August. But NO MORE!

Soccer fans and dog lovers rejoice, because the perfect event is coming your way this Saturday.

The annual Bark at the ‘Bird is back for a third year, as Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 take on Sacramento Republic FC at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium.

Tickets for humans cost $13, while their furry friends can get in for just $5. Proceeds for all dog tickets will go to Paws for Hope.

WFC2, the USL affiliate of the Vancouver Whitecaps, are five games into their season and have a record of 2W-2L-1D, good for sixth-place in the 15-team Western Conference. WFC2 is where to see the Whitecaps of tomorrow, with players like Alphonso Davies and Brett Levis having graduated from their system recently.
