The hottest ticket in town right now is not the Vancouver Canucks.
After capping a dream season with one of the best records in the MLS, the Vancouver Whitecaps are about to begin their quest for a championship on Sunday, Oct. 26, against Dallas FC.
The match is set to take place at 4:30 p.m. PDT.
Ahead of their playoff match, the Whitecaps announced that they are expecting a record-breaking crowd on Sunday at BC Place.

The current record attendance for a Whitecaps FC home match in the MLS Cup Playoffs came in 2023, when BC Place welcomed a crowd of 30,204 as the ‘Caps faced Los Angeles FC.
That was the crowd when the Whitecaps were underdogs. This time, they’re the favourites to advance over FC Dallas.
Not only that, but the Thomas Müller effect has been real, both on the pitch and in the stands.
Vancouver has averaged nearly three goals per game in the nine regular-season contests they’ve played following the Müller signing. They only lost once after Müller joined the team, a 2-1 defeat in the regular season finale to FC Dallas.
Fans have turned out to support their success as well. For the first time in franchise history, the Whitecaps sold 25,000+ tickets in six straight contests.
The Whitecaps are on pace to welcome a record number of fans through the gate after Sunday’s match as well. There have been 504,232 supporters already through the gates this season. After Sunday, the Whitecaps will surpass last year’s record total of 507,986.
