Vancouver Whitecaps hosting big playoff viewing party at BC Place and tickets are cheap
It looks like the Vancouver Whitecaps are going to keep the party going at BC Place this weekend.
Although the Whitecaps are travelling to San Diego for their MLS Western Conference Final match, the team has announced that it will host a viewing party for fans at BC Place.
Tickets for the viewing party at BC Place are just $10, which includes taxes and fees. The event includes “family-friendly” entertainment and pricing at select concessions, and rally towels for the first 15,000 fans who attend.
Tickets go on sale to the public at 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
Net proceeds from the event will go to the Whitecaps Foundation, which supports initiatives that help marginalized groups have more opportunities to play soccer locally, along with providing upgrades to soccer fields around the province.
Doors open for fans attending at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, with the match set to take place at 6 p.m.
Support for the Whitecaps is near an all-time high in the city after 53,957 fans watched Vancouver pull off a thrilling win in penalty kicks against Los Angeles FC in the Western Conference Semifinal.
If they can beat San Diego FC on Saturday, the Whitecaps will punch their ticket to the MLS Cup Final for the first time in franchise history, with the potential of it taking place at BC Place.
