Vancouver Whitecaps unveil brand new jersey for 2025 season

The Vancouver Whitecaps will have a new look when they take the pitch for this upcoming season.
The club revealed its brand-new 2025 uniform. It’s called “The Peak” kit and has plenty of Vancouver references hidden throughout.
One of the big changes savvy fans will notice from last season’s jersey is the hoop across the chest extending through the sleeves. The city’s iconic mountains are visible in the jersey’s background, symbolizing strength, resilience, and Vancouver’s natural beauty.

The phrase “TGTHR WE DARE” has been stitched onto each jersey to symbolize unity. It’s available for sale online and at the Gastown store now.

This season will be the first under new manager Jesper Sørensen. He was hired to replace the beloved Vanni Sartini in January and has a strong record of success coaching in the Danish leagues.
The uniform won’t be the only new thing for the Whitecaps this season. Some new faces will also be in the lineup, including American forward Emmanuel Sabbi, who was recently brought in from Europe.

The Whitecaps are also building and launching the Whitecaps FC Foundation, a new charitable initiative.
“With a focus on increasing access to the game and promoting environmental sustainability, the foundation will drive meaningful impact both on and off the pitch,” reads the press release.
The Whitecaps kick off their MLS season this month. Their opening game is on the road on February 23 against the Portland Timbers. Their first match back home is on March 2 against the LA Galaxy, which is when the squad will debut The Peak kit.
The club is putting on a TELUS Home Opener Contest for that big game. The prize includes a 17-person suite, a $3,000 food and beverage credit for the suite, and 17 Whitecaps jerseys. Contest entries are available online until 11:59 pm on February 22.
Tickets for this season are on sale now as the Whitecaps look to improve on the playoff run they made last year.
