Vancouver Whitecaps FC celebrating Vaisakhi at this weekend's game — here's what's planned

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is hosting its fourth annual Vaisakhi game this week, and the event promises to be a good one.
The club is putting on a celebration for the Punjabi holiday, which includes a party at Terry Fox Plaza before the match, among many other fun events.
The Sikh Motorcycle Club will lead a march down Robson Street before kickoff. They’ll depart from Dublin Calling and lead fans in a walk towards BC Place.
The event takes place tomorrow when the Colorado Rapids visit town. The two teams are among the best in the Western Conference, with Whitecaps FC leading the way and the Rapids just two points behind.
The Vaisakhi celebration will continue throughout the game as Asad Khan performs at halftime, and DJ Kokaheena will also provide special in-game entertainment.
Whitecaps FC has produced special merchandise for the occasion in collaboration with local artist Anu Chouhan, and the team has a special giveaway through an online contest. The giveaway is open now, and fans can win a prize pack, which includes a T-shirt, scarf, and special soccer ball.
