The Vancouver Whitecaps are going to make Pride a little extra special this year.
We’ve seen BC Place turn into a colourful rainbow on the outside before, using stadium lights, but this time they’re doing something different.

The club’s annual Pride Night match takes place this Saturday, and for the first time ever, the Whitecaps will be rocking a stadium-wide rainbow on the inside, with the help of fans. Multi-coloured signs will be placed on each seat for fans to help with the card stunt.

Tickets for the match are available for cheaper than usual, $27,Ā using a promo code that can be found through the Whitecaps’ website.
Other activities planned for the evening include:
- Pride cresting available on jerseys in-stadium
- Drag show and lip sync performance hosted by Conni Smudge
- Dance-off, with a jersey awarded to the winner
- Terminal City Roller Girls perform
