Enormous craft beverage and music festival returns to Whistler next month

Calling all craft beverage and live music enthusiasts! The summer fun isn’t over yet, as a huge mountainside festival is heating up in Whistler next month.

The 13th Whistler Village Beer Festival (WVBF) returns to the heart of the resort from Sept. 16 to 20 for a massive celebration of everything craft beverages. Get ready for an Oktoberfest celebration, an industry night, and more.

The Main Event at Whistler Olympic Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 19, will showcase dozens of varieties of cider, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. And the extravaganza also includes great concerts and events you won’t want to miss.

“WVBF has always been about more than just beer; it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and connection,” organizers Gibbons Whistler previously told Daily Hive. “At its heart, this festival exists to make people happy.

“We’re proud to welcome guests from across B.C. and beyond to experience Whistler at its most vibrant, where laughter, music, and great company come together to create lasting memories.”

Highlights of the week’s festivities include a Bingo and Boogie on Sept. 15 at Tapleys Neighbourhood Pub, the Sip & Stretch on Sept. 17 at Westin Plaza Patio, and a Paint and Sip night on Sept. 18 at Stonesedge Kitchen.

Then get ready for the main event on Saturday afternoon when dozens of craft beverage makers will serve their award-winning creations at the Olympic Plaza. Get ready to try seltzers, cider, cocktails, beer, and more.

Thousands of guests will also enjoy live performances by a curated lineup of musicians and bands, including Whistler’s own The Hairfarmers,

General admission tickets include an official WVBF sampling mug and five tasting tokens.

All access tickets include express entry, eight tasting tokens, a BBQ slider, a complimentary The Adventure Group day ticket, bonus swag, and entry to Oktoberfest, the Official Afterparty at Longhorn Saloon.

Guests can purchase additional tasting tokens during the festival, and attendees will have the chance to vote for their favourite brewery in the 2026 People’s Choice competition.

“WVBF is a great excuse to turn the festival into a full Whistler weekend, enjoying the village, restaurants, nightlife and surrounding mountain experiences,” added organizers.

“The festival takes place during one of Whistler’s best shoulder-season periods, offering visitors a different way to experience the resort outside peak winter and summer months.”
