Metro Vancouver to feel one more blast of heat before rain returns this week
The Metro Vancouver weather forecast will be a mixed bag for residents and visitors as the region transitions into the new month.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), temperatures will reach up to 25°C inland on Monday and up to 28°C inland the same day with the humidex. There will also be a UV index of five or moderate.
But you’ll want to keep an umbrella nearby as rain showers are set to return as early as Tuesday.

“Today there’s a south-westerly flow bringing in extra moisture and warmth,” explained ECCC meteorologist Chloe Katsademas. ” However, when a low-pressure system comes in this week, it will make things cooler.
“It could begin overnight on Tuesday, with intermittent precipitation continuing on Wednesday morning. The meat of the rainfall could last most of Wednesday and into Thursday.”
Closer to the water, temperatures in the Vancouver forecast will range between 19°C and 21°C for the next seven days.

Several days will have a mix of sun and clouds, as well as some overnight cloudy periods and a chance of showers.
The upcoming long weekend forecast isn’t a complete washout for Metro Vancouver, but you should still be ready to put on a rain jacket.
“The low pressure system will continue to linger into the later part of the week,” added Katsademas.
“While it should be clear to start the weekend, there is still a chance of showers due to continuous troughing, cooler air and moisture. And looking ahead from Sunday to Tuesday, there is another system coming.”
