Craft beer fans rejoice! Whether you are a Hefeweizen fan or an IPA aficionado, if knocking back a cold one on a hot day is your thing, then mark your calendar for an entire festival dedicated to craft brewing.

Here’s an excuse to escape the humdrum of daily life while the sun’s still shining: the Whistler Village Beer Festival is back.

Taking place from Wednesday, September 16 through Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Whistler Village, “Beer Fest” expects to draw 6,000 attendees this year. Enthusiasts can sample craft beer from the best breweries in B.C. and the Pacific Northwest amidst the mountains just before the tail end of summer.

After the opening kickoff on Wednesday, the four full days of events includes:

Live music throughout the event is just the beginning. Get ready for the nightly parties taking place at bars, clubs and pubs throughout the Village, and probably on the streets, too.

Cask Nights

Teamwork is needed here! There’s nothing like the first (or second, or hundredth) sample out of a cask. Discover intriguing nuances in cask brews from many participating brands and do your part to help finish off the casks.

Seminars

A great chance to learn more about the craft of brewing, the festival’s seminars will be beneficial to beginners and seasoned pros alike, with experts on hand to talk about everything from the fermentation process to resulting aromas. We’re especially looking forward to Master CRAFTERS, taking place Friday, September 18 at the Westin Resort & Spa, the official host hotel of the festival.

Foodie experiences
