According to the BC Assessment, the home’s most recent assessed value was $14,316,000. In 2022, it was valued at $18,370,000. In rare cases like this one, the buildings ($10,200,000) can actually be worth more than the land ($4,116,000).
Looking at the sales history for the home, it was listed for $14,900,000 in 2019, but that listing expired. After that, it was off the market until 2022, when it was listed for slightly more, at $14,990,000. That listing expired this March. It wasn’t listed again until June, with an asking price of $11,000,000. It closed at $10,100,000.
