“We’re excited for a new season on the Ice Cap,” said John Stibbard, partner and manager of marketing and sales for Beyond Whistler, in a release.

“After more than a decade of exploring this region, this next chapter represents our ongoing commitment to delivering unforgettable, world-class experiences in one of the most extraordinary landscapes in Canada.”

The Pemberton Icefield is the southernmost in a series of huge icefields in the province. It is a popular year-round destination for hiking, climbing and skiing.

Guests of all ages and skill levels are welcome, and no previous mountain experience is needed. Tours can be modified to accommodate different ages and mobility levels, so children and older adventurers can bundle up to check out the ice caves.

Bookings for Beyond Whistler‘s Ice Cave Experience begin at $1,995 and take place year-round, depending on the weather forecast and the snowpack conditions.

If you’re looking for a spot in Whistler to keep the adventure going, the resort municipality is home to one of the best accommodations in the world.

And whether it’s a cheeky après moment at The Longhorn Saloon or a spectacular feast at one of the many top-tier, award-winning restaurants in town, Whistler’s got some delicious options when it comes to dining and drinking.
