
Family Day is fast approaching, and there are plenty of fun activities to do with your loved ones around Vancouver on Monday, February 17.
But if you’re looking to run some errands around the city on the statutory holiday, be warned that many services and businesses operate under different working hours.
To help you get ready for your adventures, here’s a list of what’s open and closed in Vancouver for Family Day.

- International Village (open from 10 am to 10 pm)
- Park Royal (open from 10 am to 7 pm)
- Metropolis (open from 11 am to 7 pm)
- The Amazing Brentwood (open from 11 am to 7 pm)
- Coquitlam Centre (open from 11 am to 6 pm)
- Guildford Town Centre (open from 10 am to 7 pm)
- Tsawwassen Mills (open 10 am to 7 pm)

Grocery stores
Many grocery stores are open but may operate reduced hours on Family Day. The following grocery stores are open, but be sure to check with your local store on what time they’ll be closed:
- Safeway
- Superstore
- Save on Foods
- No Frills
- Whole Foods
- Urban Fare
- Walmart
- Costco
- T&T Supermarket
Translink
TransLink buses, SeaBus, and SkyTrain services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule. West Coast Express will also not operate.
TransLink Customer Service Centre, Access Transit Customer Care Office, and the Lost Property Office will be closed.
