Editorial note June 26, 2020: Whatafood will no longer be opening on June 27. Its opening has been postponed due to construction delays. We’ll keep you posted on its new opening day.

A new spot for Brazilian street food is opening in Metro Vancouver this month.

WhataFood has become a staple at the Richmond Night Market during the spring and summer seasons, and now, it’s almost ready to welcome customers into its first brick-and-mortar location.

The eatery will be opening at 255 800-Carnarvon Street inside the New Westminster Skytrain Station on June 27.

The mobile restaurant has gained popularity by serving up Insta-worthy eats like pastels (rectangle pies) and cheese puffs.

For its opening weekend, June 27 and 28, the eatery will be offering 10% off all purchases.
