A free two-day multicultural festival is coming to Ambleside Park

May 7 2019, 11:51 pm

West Vancouver’s long-standing Community Day is being transformed into Bridge Festival —  a two-day multicultural event taking place on May 31 and June 1 at Ambleside Park.

This new festival will include interactive cultural pavilions, live musical performances, a parade, delicious food from around the world, and much more.

“Fresh additions to the event line-up, and the evolution of some mainstays, will keep the spirit of Community Day alive while creating more opportunities to come together and celebrate the beginning of summer on the North Shore,” says Christie Rosta, Events and Festival Manager with the District of West Vancouver.

There will be two full evenings of free concerts at the main stage in Ambleside Park, a number of food trucks, and showcases of culture by West Vancouver residents who will share the customs and traditions of their diverse ethnic identities.

With fun for everyone, the event is sure to be a hit with the whole family.
