3 people arrested after alleged break-in at West End apartment

Two men and one woman are in custody this morning, after an alleged break-in at an apartment complex in the city’s West End neighbourhood on Thursday night.

According VPD Sgt. Steve Addison, the the incident took place just after 10 pm, when officers were called to the building located “near Denman Street,” but the suspects had already fled the scene by the time police arrived.

However, members of VPD’s Emergency Response Team were in the area when the break-in happened, and “arrested the suspects as they were returning to a vehicle parked nearby,” said Addison.

Addison told Daily Hive that the investigation int0 the incident is ongoing, and no charges have been laid.
