West Coast Express expected to resume regular service Tuesday morning
The West Coast Express is expected to return to its regular schedule on Tuesday morning after anti-pipeline demonstrations forced a complete service cancellation yesterday afternoon.
#WCE West Coast Express is expected to run regular service the morning of Tuesday, Feb 25. Protesters are no longer blocking the tracks in the Port Haney area, and we have been advised that we can run trains to Mission in preparation for tomorrows departures. ^pj

Service was suspended on Monday when demonstrators in solidarity with the BC’s Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs blocked tracks in the Port Haney area.
TransLink and RCMP confirmed that the individuals vacated the site around 6:45 pm on Monday evening.
The intersection of Hastings Street and Clark Drive in Vancouver remains blocked due to an ongoing demonstration that began shortly before Monday’s West Coast Express cancellation.
