After over two months with just a few millimetres of rain, it looks like Metro Vancouver will get a watering this weekend to quench some very thirsty earth.
Environment Canada is forecasting cooler temperatures beginning Wednesday and into this weekend, leading to a 30 per cent chance of showers on Sunday and a 60 per cent chance of showers Sunday night.

Monday and Tuesday will start the week with clouds and highs of 20° and 21° Celsius.
This marks the end to a two week-long heat wave that hit the South Coast region near the end of June. Temperatures around Metro Vancouver hit as high at 32°C on June 27 and 36°C on July 5.
