VPD investigating after man killed in Downtown Eastside

Vancouver Police are investigating a murder of a 36-year-old man in the Downtown Eastside.

According to police, Neil Scarisbrick was punched near Hastings and Columbia Streets and died as a result of his injuries on Monday. This is Vancouver’s 11th homicide of 2020.

Police believe the victim and suspect are known to each other and that there is no risk to the public.
