Vancouver will once again be hosting the Yoga Conference & Show this year at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Last year it was a 4 day conference and 3 day Yoga Show and a huge success! This year there will be a 3 day Conference and Show. The three day Yoga Show runs November 4-6 and tickets are $15. Ticket prices include 24 hours of Garden Yoga classes (39 classes), 120 exhibitors as well as 3 day show admission. Among the 120 exhibitors will be Vancouver’s own Halfmoon Yoga Products, be sure to stop by their booth and pick up some quality yoga props! The three day Yoga Conference also runs from November 4 – 6. With 130 workshops taught by 36 Internationally Renowned teachers, Individual class prices range from $46 – $198. Admist the 36 renowned teachers will be Chris Brandt who will be doing a workshop on Contact Partner Yoga with Teresa. If you are attending the Show be sure to check them out on Saturday November 5th 6-7 PM for a free workshop in the Garden. Check out the Yoga On The Flow Facebook page to print off a FREE pass to the Yoga Show!

If you are coming from out of town to join in on the Yoga Conference and Show be sure to check out the Pan Pacific Hotel.  They have a great deal going on right now for BC residents and Facebook Fans!

So, what am I most interested in at this Yoga Conference? My “Breath and Anatomy” workshop with Leslie Kaminoff! Just to be in his presence is more than enough for me, but I’m actually going to be in his workshop practicing yoga with him. I will also be taking 2 other workshops: “Working with Knee Pain” with Susi Hately and “Ow, I Think I Sprained my Cow” with Blake Martin. Yes, all three are classes with a therapeutic emphasis; I wouldn’t want it any other way. It will be great to take all of this knowledge and apply it to my students!

Stay tuned next week for the review on the Vancouver Yoga Conference & Show and how I found my workshops to be!

Namaste.
