If you find yourself in Mexico and need a little taste of home, or at least something familiar to it, look no further than Vancouver Wings, a company that says it’s the biggest chain of sports bars in the country.

The Guadalajara-founded sports bar’s website says the brand operates over 100 franchises across Mexico since opening in 2009, along with one location in Spain.

Vancouver Wings is known for offering over 10 flavours of wings and dressings, along with other food and several varieties of local beer.

Pair the menu with an array of screens showing televised games and a communal atmosphere, and Vancouver Wings looks like it demonstrates some serious Canadian-pub vibes way south of our border.

The restaurant’s logo is a bright red maple leaf resembling that on the Canadian flag, a symbol seen over and over in the eatery’s decor, signage, and staff uniforms.

Vancouver Wings once operated a single North American location in San Diego, but there’s no sign of expansion into Canada or BC, so we can safely say the brand isn’t interested in bringing the wings home to its namesake city anytime soon.
