
The weather forecast for Vancouver continues to be a mixed bag this week, with parts of the city finally experiencing some snow on a chilly Wednesday morning.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is calling for overnight temperatures to drop below freezing for the next 48 hours.
And daytime conditions were perfect for a dusting of snow in Vancouver on Feb. 18, which delighted and shocked local residents.

“I don’t believe in snow, but here it is, Vancouver,” said one person on social media platform X.
“Some light snow falling in the western areas of Greater Vancouver,” added another.

The snow may not last for long, as ECCC is forecasting a clearing in the weather starting on Thursday.
Overnight temperatures will drop to 5°C on Thursday, before rain and warmer weather return on Friday.

The weekend is bringing temperatures as high as 10°C, along with a 40 per cent chance of showers.
