No matter what kind of summer weather you enjoy, the Vancouver forecast has something in store for you this week.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is forecasting that the region will experience a high chance of showers this week.
You’ll want to keep an umbrella nearby as showers may begin as early as Tuesday, Aug. 5 and hover in the area until Thursday, Aug. 7.

This aligns with an August forecast that ECCC meteorologist Matt Loney shared with Daily Hive.
“The first third of the month, up to Aug. 10, the region may see normal temperatures but above-average precipitation,” said Loney.
The daily average temperature for Vancouver in August is 18.2°C, with the average monthly rainfall for the region being 36.1 mm.
Vancouver temperatures to start the shortened work week will range between 21°C and 22°C through Thursday.
But sunshine and warmth are set to return just in time for the weekend, with clear skies and highs of 23°C on Saturday on Saturday and 27°C on Sunday.
