Vancouver Voted No. 11 in Askmen.com Poll

We told you last week that the good folks over at Askmen.com had come up with a poll of the top 29 cities for men to live in. We also told you that Vancouver was among the top 29. Well today it was revealed that Vancouver placed No. 11 (we predicted somewhere in the top 15) ahead of both Toronto and Montreal naturally.Chicago was #1, followed by Barcelona and San Francisco. The crown jewel of the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver was recently named the world’s most livable city in a study conducted by The Economist. That’s because its temperate climate, tolerant sociocultural environment, cleanliness, and economy make it one of the most desirable locations on the planet. Of course, the real attraction for most of Vancouver’s residents is the city’s incomparable beauty. Surrounded by the Strait of Georgia on one side and the majestic Coast Mountains on the other, Vancouver is a true nature lover’s dream.

We scored high marks on sports & entertainment, culture, health, dating & sex and the good life. We took a hit in the fashion and power & money category. As the city matures we’ll only get better in those categories.

I know that folks here sometimes take for granted the abundance that is Vancouver, with that said I’m going to get chill at Blenz Coffee before heading to the office.
