Vancouver Visionaries and NextBC Team Up For A Day Of BC Tech Innovation
Imagine if you could get 60 minutes of insight into the minds of some of Vancouver’s most successful entrepreneurs and local business leaders once a month! Meetlab’s Vancouver Visionaries Luncheon award series is offering local startups and entrepreneurs an opportunity to brain share and learn from Vancouver’s most successful business leaders who have made a massive impact in the city.
Kicking off on May 15th, business leaders, startups and visionary entrepreneurs will be gathering to connect over lunch on a monthly basis to hear from the city’s most successful business leaders. They will share their road to success, challenges faced and provide advice on how to avoid costly pitfalls. The idea is to support local startups and continue the momentum of success stories in the city. The May 15th event will be happening at the Vancouver Club on 915 W. Hastings, featuring the CEO of Plenty of Fish, Markus Frind and his wife Anne Frind, President of JustDo1Thing.com.
Markus started Plenty of Fish in 2003 in his apartment and has grown it to a social network with 76 million registered users worldwide receiving over 2 billion page views a month. His first cheque from Google AdSense was a staggering $901,733.84! This luncheon will be a rare opportunity for attendees to learn from Markus and to be inspired by his journey.
