You can fly from Vancouver to Australia for under $1,000 return this summer

If you’ve been thinking about taking a trip this summer from Vancouver to Australia, now might be the perfect time to put those thoughts into action.

According to the travel gurus over at YVR Deals, Air Canada has dropped the price of some of its summer flights to various destinations down under.

What kind of drop are we talking here?

How about a trip to places like Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne, for under $1,000 roundtrip – taxes included?

Sweetening the deal even further? The flights are non-stop both ways, with no annoying layovers or transfers.

The deal applies to select dates booked in late July, August, September, October, November of this year, and booking a flight is pretty straightforward:

1. Try a Google Flights search like these:

  • Vancouver to Sydney, Australia (SYD): late July, August, September, late October, November 2018
  • Vancouver to Brisbane, Australia (BNE) August, September, October, November 2018
  • Vancouver to Melbourne, Australia (MEL) October, November 2018 – try Wednesday departure dates

2. Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations

3. Look for the dates that are somewhere between $981 and $1,050 roundtrip.
