The last few weeks have brought a mixed bag of weather for Vancouver, but next week things will feel a bit more like summer as temperatures are expected to soar, for at least a few days.
According to the latest Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) forecast, Sunday and Monday will be a bit dreary, with overcast conditions and chances of rain.
Luckily, conditions start to clear up on Tuesday with highs of 20°C and sunshine.

However, Wednesday is the day you’ll want to mark on your calendar because ECCC says highs could reach 28°C, making it the perfect day to hit the beach, or to take a day off and bask in the sunshine.
Many Vancouver pools are also open, so Wednesday is likely the ideal day to put on your swimsuit and take a dip.
If highs reach 28°C, that will be the hottest day in the city so far this year.
Thursday’s conditions aren’t looking too shabby, with a mix of sun and cloud and an anticipated high of 26°C.
While we’re still just under a month away from the official start of summer, it’s nice to know that sunshine and hot weather are making an early appearance for Vancouverites to enjoy.
