Vancouver sky pool penthouse finally sells for millions below asking price

A Vancouver penthouse featuring a sky pool that has been on the market for over a year finally sold for millions under the initial asking price.
Daily Hive Urbanized reported on a listing for PH1 at 1568 Alberni St. earlier this year, when millions were shaved off the initial August 2024 listing for $21,900,000, and the asking price had been dropped to $16,900,000.
The Vancouver penthouse with stunning views of the city was reported sold earlier this week for a clean figure of $15 million, slightly higher than the most recent assessed value of $14,997,000.
According to Zealty, the property had been on the market for 431 days before the sale.

The view from the sky pool is quite stunning, as one would hope for, considering the $15 million sale price.

The listing goes on to say that there’s a massive living and dining area with 20-foot ceilings that “sparkles like diamonds by the reflected light of the private glass-bottom swimming pool and spa above.”
The penthouse also spans three floors and features not one, not two, but three outdoor terraces. There’s even a private glass elevator to help you get to each floor.

Other luxury touches include quartzite countertops, suede (yes, suede) wallpaper, and lighting by artist Enzo Catellani & Bocci. The primary bedroom also has a soaker tub, and the condo features four wine lockers and access to a 24/7 concierge and “world-class amenities.”
What do you think? Worth it for $15 million?
