Vancouver Police issue Canada-wide warrant for sex offender

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued by the Vancouver Police Department after a convicted sex offender failed to return to his Vancouver halfway house for his curfew.

Police say Stanley Porter is a 47-year-old indigenous male with a height of 5’3″, weight of 180 lbs, and short brown hair and brown eyes.

He has a criminal history for sexual assault and sexual interference, and for those crimes he is serving a 10-year-long term supervision order.

Anyone who may have seen Porter or know of his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
