The Vancouver Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who robbed two elderly men.

The woman entered their unlocked apartments in the Seymour and Davie area while the men were still inside and proceeded to rob them. She left one of the men badly bruised.

She’s described as being 5’7″ tall, in her mid-twenties, with a heavy build and dark skin. She had shoulder length dark hair.

The VPD say no charges have be laid and the investigation is under way.

“This woman committed a despicable act against two vulnerable members of our community,” said VPD spokesperson Sergeant Randy Fincham in a media release.

As such, police want to remind seniors to lock their doors and to not open them to strangers.

Anyone who has information about these robberies is asked to call VPD investigators at 604-717-2541 or Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
