This Vancouver seafood spot just launched an all-day brunch menu
If there’s one thing Vancouverites love, it’s brunch. Sleeping in a little, rolling up to your favourite brunch spot, and indulging in Eggs Benedict and a mimosa is one of the greatest joys of the weekend.
Unfortunately, the rest of the city feels the same way, meaning brunch lines are always long. So when a new spot opens up — or an old favourite starts offering all-day brunch — there’s reason to celebrate.
In addition to providing the city with one of the few oyster bars, Harbour Oyster + Bar, located in East Van’s food-centric Commercial Drive neighbourhood, is now upping the ante with an all-day brunch menu. You can expect a twist on some of their seafood classics, as well as some classic brunch mainstays — best served with a Harbour Caesar, obviously.

Available all day, every day, brunch is no longer exclusively a weekend activity. Without a limit on how late you can dig in, sleeping in just a little longer doesn’t mean missing out.
For the exceptionally ravenous, dig into the Steak Breakfast Sandwich: a filling and savoury dish with steak, egg, tomato, and jalepeño aioli on sourdough bread. For those looking for something on the lighter, more classic side, why not try the French Omelet? The rotating feature omelet, which changes depending on the season and the day, is served alongside mixed greens.
If you’re a seafood lover who can’t fathom going to a seafood restaurant without getting something coastal, go for the Shrimp Toast — toasted sourdough is topped with shrimp, celery, and finely chopped chives. For the bold brunch veteran, order the Fried Oysters and Waffles. A twist on the usual fried chicken and waffles, this dish is served with satisfyingly spicy jalapeno syrup to take those crispy fried oysters up a notch.
