The rain returned last week and (surprise, surprise) many Vancouverites got caught in the downpour. Fortunately, the streets were flooded with umbrellas to the delight of soggy commuters. Like at this bus stop:
People were feeling the love after getting a random act of umbrella:
Just got #CoveredByShaw thanks for the #umbrella @ShawInfo

When they were feeling forgetful:
Forgot my umbrella but got a free one #CoveredByShaw Thanks — Allan Lee (@bustop79) October 9, 2015
When they woke up to free-er transit:
Or when they were visiting from out of town:

The free umbrellas were courtesy of Shaw and their street teams who were in and around Shaw Go WiFi hotspots in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary handing out hundreds of umbrellas, thousands of free transit passes and topping up parking meters – all to show how Western Canadians are #CoveredByShaw.
