European-inspired Vancouver mansion listed for nearly $30 million

A glamorous and European-inspired Vancouver mansion was recently listed for nearly $30 million.
It’s another bougie property located in the prestigious British Properties neighbourhood of West Vancouver.
The previous home that was located at 961 King Georges Way was last sold in 2018 for $6,450,000. According to Zealty, the new property was built in 2024, and this is the first listing for it.
BC Assessment’s most recent valuation of the property, before the new home was built, was $11,868,000, with $5,907,000 of that for the land alone.

The listing for the mansion describes it as a world-class luxury residence, situated on 0.68 acres of land in West Vancouver’s “most exclusive British Properties enclave.”
It features views of the ocean, Stanley Park and the downtown Vancouver skyline. The views are real, and they’re spectacular.

The property features 11,279 sq. ft. of living space, “providing a sophisticated lifestyle that combines timeless Italian sophistication and modern elements that blend seamlessly to create an international masterpiece.”
You’ll find seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms in the glamorous Vancouver mansion, which has now been on the market for just over two weeks.
Some of the other bougie features include Italian marble floors throughout the property, a “sensational kitchen,” a private elevator, what the listing calls a “state-of-the-art home theatre,” and a resort-style fitness centre.

There’s an entertainment lounge, which includes a wet bar and a temperature-controlled wine room.
Pictures of the interior reveal the intricacy of the marble work and the home’s bright lighting. Large windows also allow lots of natural light to shine through into the primary living areas of the estate.

Additionally, it offers an eight-car garage that has a heated driveway. The garage looks like something out of a James Bond movie.

The pool and nearby lounge area rival what you might find at a luxury hotel, at least aesthetically.

If you’re interested in buying this home and have a spare $30 million, the average mortgage payments for this home under a 30-year amortization period, with a 20 per cent down payment ($5,960,000) would be around $115,000 per month.
