An ambulance was forced to be evacuated after police say a man got agitated and pulled a knife on some paramedics in Vancouver.
In an email to Daily Hive, the Vancouver Police Department says the man who got agitated was actually the patient being transported in the ambulance.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening, just before 6 pm.

At some point, police say the agitated patient pulled out a knife, and the paramedics evacuated the ambulance and called for emergency cover.
“Our officers responded immediately and arrested the suspect,” VPD Sergeant Steve Addison said in a statement.
We heard from BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) about the situation, which sheds more light on the situation.
BCEHS told Daily Hive that while the paramedics were transporting the patient to the hospital, they had concerns for their safety en route and had to call the police.
Thankfully, VPD says that nobody was injured and that the suspect remains in custody.
“We will be recommending criminal charges,” Addison added.
