The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and we finally all have a little pep in our step now that summer is so near. With all that extra energy, now could be the best time to put your best foot forward and look into some great Vancouver jobs.

Whether you are seeking a summer job or a new career opportunity, there are hundreds of roles listed around the city that might be right for you.

Here are 11 companies hiring for jobs in Vancouver this June.

If you’ve always liked the idea of working that quintessential summer job at a theme park, operating rides or selling cotton candy, you’re in luck because the PNE Fair is hiring for its 2026 season.

On its website, the PNE says it’s looking for over 500 “enthusiastic and dynamic employees to work in a wide variety of departments” for this year’s PNE Fair, which runs from Aug. 22 to Sept. 7.

It also provided further details, noting that base wages start at $18.54/hour. There’s also five per cent additional pay in lieu of vacation and other benefits, resulting in a total of $19.47/hour.

Global Container Terminals

The largest majority Canadian-owned port container operator has an opening in Vancouver for a project portfolio manager. The role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of GCT’s capital and project portfolio

Global Container Terminals states online that it is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. One of the largest employers in the maritime sector, the company offers competitive wages, an annual incentive plan, and benefits to successful applicants.

Microserve

Microserve is an IT support company based in Burnaby with offices in Victoria, Edmonton, and Calgary. It currently has 14 job openings in B.C., ranging from client experience specialist to business systems analyst to service dispatcher.

Microserve also offers competitive compensation packages, including benefits, employee recognition, and wellness programs.

Arbutus Club

The Arbutus Club in Vancouver is currently hiring for several open positions on its careers page.

Those with an interest in the culinary side of the club can apply for roles like bistro attendant and cook. Arbutus Club is also hiring a full-time maintenance engineer, a part-time head lifeguard, and a part-time pro shop assistant.

Bannister Automotive Group

Bannister Automotive Group has over 20 dealerships in Western Canada, including the Okanagan Valley, Peace Region, Kootenays, and the Fraser Valley.

The family-oriented auto group currently has over 20 positions open, including lot attendant and automotive technician.

Fresh Prep

Fresh Prep is Canada’s convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service that makes it easy to eat well, support local, and reduce waste. The Vancouver-based company currently has a number of job openings locally and across the country, including delivery driver, order picking – production assistant, and sanitation associate.

Amazon is hiring for over 140 positions in Vancouver, including dozens of jobs in software development.

“At Amazon, we’re looking for passionate innovators across the world to create the next best thing for our customers,” the job board reads.

Amazon teams looking to bolster their ranks include the Amazon Web Services, Alexa and Amazon Web Services, and eCommerce Foundation. If you have experience in related fields, check out the jobs listed on its site.

Langara College

If you enjoy life on a college campus and are in the market for work, you might want to take a peek at the jobs being offered by Langara College.

Langara has a variety of jobs open for applications, including instructors, product managers and business analysts. Some positions are temporary fixed-term, while others are on a casual basis.

White Spot

The much-loved B.C. restaurant chain White Spot is hiring in Metro Vancouver. Current job openings include entry-level line cooks, dishwashers, servers, and greeters.
