A luxury Vancouver home is back on the market for the third time in three months with a multimillion-dollar price drop.

The “prestigious Shaughnessy” home, located at 1189 West 32nd Ave., features five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and over 5,300 sq. ft. of living space.

The property was recently relisted with a new asking price of $6,666,670 million.

According to Zealty’s history for the property, this is a drop of nearly $2 million since it first hit the market this summer.

The custom-crafted, three-storey home went back on the market on July 29, 2025 for $8.4 million, and that listing was terminated on Sep. 15 with a reduction to $7.98 million.

Just 10 days later on Sep. 25, the home was listed once again at a new price of $7.9 million, and that listing remained active until Oct. 16 when it was once again terminated.

One day later on Oct. 17, it was relisted at the current price of $6.67 million. This is also nearly $2.5 million lower than the most recent sold price of $9 million in 2017.

Dracco Pacific Realty describes the home as a “sanctuary designed for connection, comfort, and beauty.”

Filled with smart-home featurers and “Parisian-inspired charm,” the house is located just blocks away from VanDusen Botanical Garden and a short drive from Queen Elizabeth Park.

The home features many luxurious spaces, like the private wine cellar and an all-wood office.

“Every corner of this residence whispers luxury—whether dining, lounging, or simply living,” adds Draco Pacific Realty.

The Shaughnessy property isn’t the only palatial home in the region to receive a cut to its asking price.

A Kerrisdale home with luxurious amenities was sold after just a month on the market, but it took a huge price drop to finalize the deal.

And a lavish West Point Grey home is back on the market after its own multimillion-dollar price drop.
