
Those looking for some sunshine to chase the grey skies away from Vancouver are in luck this week, but only for a limited time.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is forecasting a return to rain and showers for much of the week ahead.
Temperatures will also see some fluctuation over the next seven days, with some gusts of wind to keep things moving in the region.

Tuesday, Oct. 21, is Vancouver’s lone chance of sun in the week’s forecast, with a clearing in the afternoon and a daytime high of 14°C.
The rest of the week calls for chance of showers, with highs varying between 11°C and 15°C.
Overnight lows will also see a swing from as high of 12°C on Thursday to just 7°C on Saturday night.

If you’re using an umbrella on Monday, be ready to hold on tight as wind is expected to gust up to 20 km/h late this morning and up to 40 km/h near the water by the afternoon.
Winds are also expected to stay active in the area until later this evening when the gusts are forecast to die down.
