Harbour Air’s seasonal expansion is in full gear, and it includes a direct flight from Vancouver to a scenic spot in B.C. that was named one of Expedia’s top global destinations for 2026.
Folks in Vancouver can now get directly to Ucluelet in just around 50 minutes, compared to an over four-hour drive and a ferry trip.
The direct flight from Vancouver comes just in time for a busy summer travel season.

Ucluelet was named a top global destination for 2026 last fall.
Expedia’s Destinations of the Year list highlighted top emerging destinations, and Ucluelet placed near the very top, thanks to a 44 per cent search increase over the last year. The list of destinations marks spots where global traveller interest is taking off.
“Among the top emerging destinations is Ucluelet, the stunning year-round coastal destination in British Columbia,” Expedia said.
Harbour Air says that the direct route lands right in the Ucluelet Inlet (not through Tofino).
“Whether you’re out on the ocean watching whales or simply taking in the spectacular landscape, this flight puts you in the heart of it all in under an hour,” said Ayesha Howitt, vice president of people, culture, and safety at Harbour Air.
Daily service runs between June 25 and Sept. 30, with one-way fares starting at $209. Round-trip fares will run around $420, and that includes a fuel surcharge.
“The Vancouver–Ucluelet route joins Harbour Air’s flights to Tofino, including wheeled flights during the winter season, extending Harbour Air’s network further into Vancouver Island’s west coast. It’s part of Harbour Air’s commitment to saving people time and making more of B.C. accessible. As interest in Ucluelet continues to grow, Harbour Air is positioned to be the easiest way to get there,” Harbour Air adds.
In case you needed more incentive, as of this past December, Aeroplan members earn points on all Harbour Air flights with eligible fares, and that includes cross-border and new routes.
