Halloween is just around the corner, and the Vancouver weather forecast is looking good for the ghouls and ghosts getting ready to trick-or-treat.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the weather forecast for Saturday, Oct. 31 is looking clear of precipitation, though there may be clouds in the sky.
However, you’ll want to layer up underneath the costumes, because the overnight temperatures are dipping by the end of the week.

The early part of the last week of October is also looking wet, so make sure to keep your umbrellas and rain jackets nearby.
While the sun will make an appearance in the seven-day forecast, it’s going to be a wet week overall.

“There’s currently an upper low sitting near Vancouver Island, bringing showers for the next few days,” said Jennifer Hay, ECCC meteorologist
“It will weaken and drift away by Oct. 31. The hope is for some clearing skies, and Halloween does look dry at this point.”
Daytime highs for the early part of the week hover around 10°C and 12°C. Overnight lows will reach 6°C to 7°C .
Monday and Tuesday will also be a bit blustery, with northwest winds of up to 30 km near the water on both mornings.
