Put on your ‘Lalongo’ and ‘Bieska’ jerseys Vancouver, because the Vancouver Giants are getting a sharp new look for their game this Saturday.

The Giants will wear special Don Cherry themed jerseys for their Saturday night game against the Tri-City Americans at the Langley Events Centre. As part of the WHL Suits Up with Don Cherry to Promote Organ Donation, the jerseys will be autographed and available for online auction. All proceeds will go to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

You can bid on jerseys right now until Tuesday at noon.

“You don’t have to look far to see how many people have been positively affected by organ donation and we’re very excited to do our part to help raise funds and awareness towards the Kidney Foundation of Canada,” said Giants Senior Vice President, Dale Saip.

After starting out the 2017-18 season in rough fashion, getting blown out 7-1 and 6-1 in back-to-back games against Victoria, the Giants rebounded with a 6-3 win over Kamloops on Friday.

The Giants are looking for a bounce-back season, after finishing with the second-worst record in the WHL last season.
