Keep your sunglasses on, because the month of May will be ending on a sunny note.

According to Environment Canada, Vancouver’s forecast is calling for seven straight days of sunshine and mostly clear skies.

Temperatures throughout the week will range between 20°C and 22°C. Expect slightly warmer temperatures inland, with highs of 24°C.

Nighttime temperatures will also be fairly consistent, ranging between 11°C and 14°C from now until Saturday, June 1.

And with the first week of June just days away, it looks like the sunshine is a sign of things to come.

Earlier today, the Weather Network released its long-term summer forecast, which predicted another hot and dry summer.
