Vancouver forecast calls for chances of snow and flurries later this week

Vancouver’s stretch of sunny weather could be interrupted by snow and flurries later in the week.

According to Environment Canada, the shift in weather could start on Wednesday, with the chance of carrying over into Thursday.

Wednesday night’s forecast calls for rain or snow overnight, while Thursday calls for a “70% chance of rain showers or flurries.”

The rest of the week looks to be mainly sunny with a 30% chance of showers on Tuesday, a 40% chance of showers on Friday, and a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday.

Temperatures also look to be significantly higher than the cold snap seen in Vancouver two weeks ago. The daytime high across this week is expected to be between 8°C and 9°C, while the overnight low will range from -1°C and 3°C.
