Rain and wet snow in forecast for Vancouver today

Keep an umbrella close by, Vancouver — the next few days are looking to be wet.

Environment Canada is calling for rain mixed with wet snow in Vancouver throughout Thursday. The mix of precipitation and wet snow is expected to start in the morning and could continue overnight.

Thursday is expected to be the first of five straight days of rain.

Friday and Saturday’s forecast call for periods of rain throughout the day, while Sunday and Monday’s forecast call for constant precipitation.

Temperatures in Vancouver are expected to be significantly warmer than last week, however, with daytime highs between 5°C and 9°C between Thursday and Monday. Overnight lows are forecast to range between 2°C and 8°C.
