As always, the Vancouver Christmas Market will feature a wide array of mouth-watering treats including Glühwein (a hot-spiced mulled wine), German Bratwurst, Gulasch, Spätzle, Schnitzel, Strudels, Transylvanian Chimney Cakes, a selection of German beer, award-winning German-style wine, and much more.

Disco Dumplings at Burdock & Co
This weekly series features a savoury dumpling menu, DJ Chris Allen spinning vinyl, and a flashy disco ball setting the mood. Plates are $10 and guests can choose from an assortment of decadent dumplings including nettle and ricotta with wild greens and pork and burdock with charred chili sauce.
When: Mondays at 8 pm (walk-ins only; reservations on Mondays will only be accepted until 6:30 pm)

A boozy bubble tea pop-up is coming to Vancouver next week, on December 18 to be exact. The event, brought to us by The Popup Bar, will take place at Gastown bar Are you MIA (350 Water Street) from 7 pm to 2 am – which gives you plenty of time to get your spiked boba fix.

Enjoy a beer-based cocktail with charcuterie boards from Oyama as soon as you arrive, followed by your small group tour of how the beers from Granville Island Brewing are created. After this, attendees can dig into a communal beer-makers dinner and enjoy so small batch beer.

This festive creation will return on December 20 for a limited time, when it will be available at the beginning of the day until supplies run out. Get this dish at one of Meat & Bread’s three Vancouver locations, and be sure to prepare for a bit of a wait – the lines are usually pretty epic for this thing.

Feast of Seven Fished at Cibo Trattoria
Enjoy a seven-course Italian-inspired menu this month for two nights only at Cibo. Features on the spread include slow-cooked octopus and tons of local seafood.
