Vancouver Folk Music Festival returns to Jericho Beach this summer

One of the most popular music festivals in the city returns to town this summer, as the 42nd annual Vancouver Folk Music Festival (VFMF) comes back to Jericho Beach.

Taking place from July 19-21, 2019 at Jericho Beach Park, the festival brings together some of the best contemporary folk and roots music artists from around the globe.
Attracting upwards of 40,000 people each year, the festival gives attendees the chance to experience the music and culture of 60 international, national, and local acts.
Attendees can also enjoy food from tasty vendors at Pete’s Eats, children’s activities in the Little Folks Village, and discover crafty treasures in the Artisan Market and Folk Bazaar.
Weekend passes for the festival are $175, and include admission for Friday, from 3 pm to 11 pm, as well as for Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 11 pm. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Daily tickets are available: Friday for $60 advance, and Saturday and Sunday are each $80 advance.
Group rates are also available with the purchase of 15 or more weekend passes of the same type.
Artists on the roster this year include Sam Roberts Band, Corb Lund and the Hamiltones, and Larkin Poe.

The VFMF will feature an evening main stage, a Twilight Sate for nighttime shows, and five daytime stages for both concerts and workshops.
